David Platt - the next Norman Bates??

Coronation Street bad boy David Platt realy excelled himself last night (Oct 31) in the 1 hour wedding special. Without going through the whole plot, the last scene where he is shown looking through the upstairs bedroom widow, with the net curtains drawn, back lit - you would think it's the same scene as Norman Bates looking through the window in Psycho! Perhaps that's what the writers intended. And if they did, they were spot on. If this young actor doesn't continue in his future roles as a evil baddy (something to be proud of in an actor) not just in Corrie, but other tv/movie roles too, I'll put myself forward for Dierdrie's love child straight away.
