Anyone had Gastric Reflux surgery?

I am thinking of having surgery to correct my Gastric Reflux. I am 23 and any medicine I have tried (since I was a baby) doesnt seem to work. I cough up the little inside the medicine, Puke up the liquid and regurgitate smaller tables than they went down with disolving ones! Does anyone have any experience of the op and how they felt after etc..Thanks lorna
