Do you think sending troops to Iraq was a mistake when Afghanistan was not pacified?

Afghanistan should've been the original goal. Iraq should not have even been a part of the picture. It's been proven that not only was Iraq not a direct threat but the country had little ties to the Al-Qiada group that was responsible for the 9/11 attacks. Bin-Laden never considered Saddam Hussein an ally. Bin-Laded wanted to invade Iraq in Desert Storm. Remember, Bin-Laden is from Saudi Arabia. He doesn't like America because he feels as if his own country snubbed him for our military during desert storm when Saudi Arabia called for US intervention instead of that from Bin-Laden's group. But to try and link the two as allies was an obvious abuse and total misinformation.
