Please help don't know if I have a medical problem or if it's normal?

Ok so whenever I laugh really hard for a while, phlegm builds up and I have to cough to get rid of it. Besides from laughing, I never cough, have breathing difficulties, or anything else any other time. What could this be? Could it just be something unique to me or is there something wrong? I;m worried : /
