I want a logical reason why anyone can possibly watch and ENJOY The Hills / Laguna Beach.?

Ok, if you are a 15-20 year old female, I suppose I can see the reasoning. But beyond this, why would one watch this horrible programming? It is mindless. It does not matter how good looking the participants are.
