How much would it cost for me to get 23" hair extensions at a salon?

I have thick short wavy hair and I'm tired of not being able to do anything with my hair except leave it down. How much would 23" extensions cost me to get done professionally? I know the clip in is cheaper but I would probably decrease its life expectancy by half. ( not intentionally thats just my luck lol)
